Full film details

Deku (Justin Briner) and his friends Bakugo (Clifford Chaplin), Ochaco (Luci Christian) and Todoroki (David Matranga) are members of Class 1-A, a group of young aspiring superheroes with superhuman abilities known as ‘quirks’.

Following the legendary All Might’s (Christopher Sabat) retirement, the group is working to become the next generation of heroes to fill the void. The students are sent to train on Nabu Island - a small tropical island south of Japan. Here their skills will be tested as they learn how to protect citizens without any support from the experts.

When the group lands at the scenic location, everything seems peaceful to the point it almost feels like a holiday. But a newly formed group of villains is set to ruin their plans. Supervillain Nine (Jonny Yong Bosch) and his associates are about to attack the island and it looks like Shigaraki (Eric Vale) played a part in the scheme. Unfortunately for the Class 1-A gang, Nine possesses a supremely powerful ‘quirk’ that threatens to cause serious devastation.

With the society of superheroes on the verge of chaos and the island inhabitants in significant danger, Class 1-A must do everything it can to defeat the most powerful villain of them all.

My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising is the next instalment in the My Hero Academia franchise, following on from the success of My Hero Academia: Two Heroes. The number-one hero anime is the work of legendary director Kenji Nagasaki (My Hero Academia) and features voiceovers from a host of talented stars including Justin Briner (My Hero Academia), Clifford Chaplin (Attack on Titan), Luci Christian (My Hero Academia), Christopher Sabat (Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection “F”), David Matranga (My Hero Academia), Johnny Young Bosch (Bleach: Burîchi) and Eric Vale (Dragon Ball Z Kai).
