Full film details

Patriot’s Day, April 15 2013. The Boston Marathon is in full swing, and the streets are packed with spectators out to show loved ones their support.

But, the mood of the day takes a sudden downturn when two bombs go off just before the finish line, killing three and injuring countless others.

Like everyone else, Sergeant Tommy Saunders is left shell-shocked by the terrorist act – but there’s no time for reflection. Leaping into action, he unites with survivors, investigators and first responders to track down the perpetrators before tragedy strikes again.

Adapted from the book, “Boston Strong,” by Casey Sherman and Dave Wedge, Patriot’s Day offers insight into one of the most shocking and cruel terror acts of recent years.

Headed up by leading-man Mark Wahlberg (Deepwater Horizon), the film has an impressive cast of familiar faces including Academy Award Winner J.K. Simmons (Whiplash), Kevin Bacon (Black Mass), John Goodman (Argo), Melissa Benoist (Supergirl) and Michelle Monaghan (Source Code).

This film contains a sequence of flashing lights which might affect customers who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy.
