Alien: Covenant Synopsis

When the crew of a colony ship bound for a remote planet take a detour to explore a beautiful, uncharted paradise, a brief brush with utopia turns to terror as they discover they are not alone.

Whilst sailing through space on a mission to a remote planet on the other side of the galaxy, the crew of the Covenant spaceship stumble upon a beautiful and seemingly undiscovered world.

But the picturesque mountain range and lush green landscape is hiding an ugly threat.

Upon meeting a synthetic android from the doomed Prometheus mission named Walter (Michael Fassbender), the team begin to unravel the mysterious secrets surrounding the planet and the bloodthirsty creatures that inhabit it.

As the grotesque monsters close in, the Covenant crew are forced to muster up all their strength to ensure their next breath isn’t their last.

Ridley Scott (Blade Runner 2049Murder on the Orient Express) returns to the direct the latest thrilling instalment in one of cinema’s longest running franchises, which began with Alien way back in 1979.

Alien: Covenant picks up where Prometheus (2012) left off, and sees the return of Michael Fassbender (The Snowman) in his dual role as David and Walter.
Katherine Waterston (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them) also stars, alongside James Franco (Why Him?), Noomi Rapace (Unlocked) and Guy Pearce (Flammable Children).
