Hiccup is now the chief and ruler of Berk alongside Astrid (America Ferrara) and has managed to create the world’s first peaceful dragon utopia where the humans and the dragons live harmoniously together.

One night, Hiccup spots Toothless speaking to a white female dragon – it turns out Toothless is not the only Night Fury dragon to exist after all. But danger lies ahead when the discovery coincides with the biggest threat the village has ever faced.

Desperate to get his hands on the only Night Dragon he hasn’t yet managed to capture, a ruthless villain named Grimmel (F. Murray Abraham) summons Hiccup to hand Toothless over, or else he will destroy everything he loves. But with Toothless’ attention diverted towards his new love interest, their friendship is tested like never before. And to make matters worse, Hiccup’s rulership is being scrutinised by some of the villagers.

Both dragon and rider are faced with challenging decisions as they journey to a hidden dragon world to try and save their kind.
