PG cinema age rating

Robin and his Teen Titans Go! pals take to the big screen in this animated comedy, featuring the same cast as the hit TV series. Full film details

Superman, Batman, Superwoman, even Green Lantern… It seems like every superhero has a movie made about them. But what about their trusty sidekicks?

Robin is desperate to be the main feature of the next blockbuster hit, and so he and his fellow sidekicks, Beast Boy, Starfire, Cyborg and Raven, head to Hollywood to find the hottest director in town and convince her they’re worthy of big screen fame.

But instead of finding stardom, Robin is crushed to learn they only make films about ‘real superheroes’ – which he is not. Disappointed but determined, Robin decides to do anything he can to become worthy of his own feature film.

So, what is it that elevates a superhuman to hero status?

It turns out that having an arch nemesis is a good place to start...

When the evil Slade comes into the picture with a villainous plan to take over the world, Robin and his friends are forced to put their Hollywood dreams on hold and confront real danger. It turns out life can be a lot more exciting (and scary!) than the movies.

Based on Teen Titans Go!, the hit animated TV series about the misfit DC Comics team, the show’s directors Peter Rida Michail and Aaron Horvath also take the reins on the latest feature-length instalment. Greg Cipes, Tara Strong, Scott Menville, Khary Payton, and Hynden Walch reprise their roles from the TV series, and Will Arnett (BoJack Horesman) and Kristen Bell (The Good Place) also join the cast.
