Full film details

In the City of Destruction, residents work hard and live life in fear of their evil ruler. But when one of the workers, known as Faithful Pathfinder, goes missing, those he leaves behind discover a book that encourages readers to believe in a world beyond.

Christian Pilgrim reads this book that talks about Celestial City and he begins to feel the weight of sin and judgement, which develop as a physical shell-like form on his back. He decides to leave his family behind and head out on a forbidden journey beyond the borders of the City of Destruction.

Along the way, he meets friends, formidable enemies and temptations to stray from the path. Can Pilgrim make it to Celestial City and rid himself of the burden on his back? And at what cost?

The Pilgrim’s Progress is directed by Robert Fernandez (The Messengers: The Witness Trilogy) and is adapted from John Bunyan’s Christian allegory published in 1678. It stars the voices of David Thorpe (Torchlighters: The John Wesley Story, Peak Practice), John Rhys-Davies (Aquaman, The Lord of the Rings trilogy) and newcomer Kristyn Getty in an animated journey that could lead Pilgrim to freedom.
