INFINITY VISION: YOUR GUIDE
What it is, why it matters, and how to know which Vue ticket to book
With the Avengers: Endgame encore hitting our big screens on 25 September - paving the road to Avengers: Doomsday on 18 December - we’re all getting into full Avengers swing, and experiencing every moment as intensely as possible is naturally on a lot of people’s minds.
If you’re one of those people, you might have come across a little something called Infinity Vision. Still wondering what it is? Well, you’re in the right place. Let's break it down.
WHAT IS INFINITY VISION?
First things first: Infinity Vision is not a new brand, product or standalone screening type in itself.
Instead, it’s a stamp of quality approval straight from Disney - a badge to help you identify the biggest, brightest and most immersive viewing experiences.
To carry an Infinity Vision certification, a screen has to meet strict technical requirements for size (at least 45 feet wide), brightness (certified for sharp, vibrant, high-impact projection) and sound (immersive audio like Dolby Atmos).
…AND THEN THERE'S EPIC BY VUE
Speaking of the ultimate experiences: within the realm of Infinity Vision-certified screenings, there is good. And then there is EPIC.
EPIC came about because, well, to be frank, the best didn't exist. So, we had to custom build it, bringing together the best sound (delivered by Dolby Atmos) and the very best visuals (delivered through HDR by BARCO), all on our absolute biggest screens. It's everything that's great about going to the cinema, cranked right up - placing it at the peak of the Infinity Vision category. Available at select venues.
What you'll see on the site: This bad boy - suitably EPIC visuals, tagged with EPIC.
MORE INFINITY VISION-CERTIFIED SCREENINGS AT VUE
There are plenty of Infinity Vision-certified screenings available across our venues.
Because the certification can apply to any screen that meets Disney’s high bar - whether it’s driven by laser projection, monumental screen width, or custom sound setups - you’ll find this badge lighting up a variety of options when you come to book.
To be utterly certain your screening hits those Disney standards, simply look out for the label when booking your tickets.
What you’ll see on the site: These two beautiful words.
