Full film details

Nels (Liam Neeson) keeps his small-town functioning during the depths of winter. As a snow-plough driver, Nels is the person everyone relies on to clear the roads when the white stuff coats the land as far as the eye can see.

Nels is so important that he is voted Citizen of the Year by his friends and neighbours. With a loving family around him, the respect of his peers, and a job he is passionate about, Nels’ life couldn’t really be much better.

Out of the blue, Nels receives the call every parent dreads. His beloved son is dead. Looks like it was a heroin overdose.

Despite the doctors confirming that every parent denies that their kid had any involvement in drugs, Nels just knows that his son wasn’t an addict. And with a little digging in the right places, he discovers his instincts were right: his son’s death was a set-up by a gang of drug lords.

Angry and grief-stricken, Nels sets out on a violent quest to avenge his son and take down the dealers who prematurely ended his life. He might not have much experience in the criminal underworld, but he does know how to use heavy machinery… And sometimes a thirst for vengeance is enough to completely change a man from Citizen of the Year to every criminal’s worst nightmare.

Liam Neeson (Taken, The Grey) stars as Nels in Cold Pursuit, an action-thriller that’ll keep you at the edge of your seat. Neeson’s co-stars include Emmy Rossum (A Futile and Stupid Gesture) and Tom Bateman (Murder on the Orient Express), with Hans Petter Moland (Department Q: A Conspiracy of Faith) in the director’s seat, remaking his own film previously titled In Order of Disappearance.
