Death on the Nile
Detective Hercule Poirot turns to Egypt where he must work out who killed a young heiress. Kenneth Branagh becomes Poirot again, directing and starring alongside Gal Gadot, Letitia Wright and Armie Hammer in this adaptation of Agatha Christie’s mystery novel of the same name and sequel to 2017’s Murder on the Orient Express.
Hercule Poirot (Kenneth Branagh) is contacted by wealthy socialite Linnet Doyle (Gal Gadot). She’s recently married Simon Doyle (Armie Hammer), much to the anger of his previous fiancé, Jacqueline de Bellefort (Emma Mackey).
But things are about to get a whole lot uglier. While aboard a steamer travelling the Nile, Poirot finds himself pulled into a murder mystery.
Aboard the steamer are a host of suspects and witnesses. It’s up to Poirot to question them and find out who is the killer. But it isn’t the last of the bloodshed on what should have been a leisurely cruise on the Nile.
Kenneth Branagh (All Is True, Dunkirk), whose accolades include BAFTA and Emmy wins and Oscar and Golden Globe nominations, directs this sequel to 2017’s Murder on the Orient Express. He’ll be stepping into the role of Poirot again. Among his suspects are Gal Gadot (Ralph Breaks the Internet, Wonder Woman), BAFTA winner and Emmy nominee Letitia Wright (Avengers: Endgame, Black Panther) and Golden Globe nominee Armie Hammer (Cars 3, Call Me by Your Name).
