Glass

15 cinema age rating

Starring an incredible trio of Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, and James McAvoy, Glass is the latest film from director M. Night Shyamalan and follows the stories of David Dunn and Kevin Crumb, who come up against each other as Dunn pursues The Beast, determined to put an end to the superhuman nightmare. When the mysterious Elijah Price, aka Mr. Glass, reappears in Dunn’s life, the three men are forced to accept they’re part of something much larger – and it’s Mr. Glass who holds the secrets that could change everything. Anya Taylor-Joy returns as Casey Cooke, and Sarah Paulson stars as psychologist Dr. Ellie Staple, who is drawn into the men’s parallel reality.

Full film details

Dr. Ellie Staple (Sarah Paulsson) is a specialist psychologist, particularly interested in the mindset of individuals whose misconceptions have them convinced that they are superheroes. Her research has brought together three individuals who have nothing in common beyond their delusions of grandeur.

David Dunn (Bruce Willis) and Kevin Crumb (James McAvoy) are fragmented men, both grappling with who they truly are. On the surface, they’re opposites, poised against each other. But in truth, they’re far more alike than they’re willing to accept.

Both men are trapped, fighting against the darkness that lives deep within them and reeling from the consequences of the things they have done…

Elijah Price (Samuel L. Jackson) is the third and final piece that completes the disjointed picture. With a lifetime of bone fractures and breakages, his delicate body is no match to his astonishing IQ and unbelievable intelligence. And he knows something about David and Kevin that could free them – or destroy them both.

As the three men are drawn together, they’re forced to acknowledge that something has begun, and it’s much bigger than the human existence they’ve been trying to wrestle themselves into.
War. Sacrifice. Responsibility. As the storm brews, the men discover that the line between ‘hero’ and ‘villain’ is fragile – and transparent as glass.

Glass brings together the characters and events of Unbreakable and Split, to create a superhero trilogy unlike any other. Starring Bruce Willis (Death Wish), Samuel L. Jackson (Avengers: Infinity War) and James McAvoy (Filth), this latest M. Night Shyamalan film is set to be a modern classic.
