Full film details

The once peaceful Egypt quickly descends into chaos, when Set, the ruthless god of darkness, removes the King’s eyes, and usurps the throne.

With the Egyptian people enslaved under savage ruling, the future of the empire lies in the hands of a small group of rebels who dare to oppose Set and his vicious henchmen.

A common thief named Bek forms an unlikely alliance with a powerful god named Horus, and the two set out on a mission to take Set down, and restore freedom and peace.

The path to justice is a perilous one, however, and they must battle with monsters, and journey into the afterlife and across the heavens in order to triumph. As a mere mortal, Bek must use all his strength in order to prove his worth against almighty gods, save Egypt, and rescue the love of his life.

This breathtakingly beautiful action-drama will have viewers on the edge of their seats in a vice-like grip from start to finish, and is directed by the talented Alex Proyas, who has seen success with films such as I, Robot (2004) and The Crow (1994).

Gerard Butler (London Has Fallen) plays the merciless god Set, and leads an impressive cast, which includes Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Game of Thrones), Brenton Thwaites (Maleficent), Abbey Lee (Mad Max: Fury Road) and Rufus Sewell (The Man in the High Castle).
