Holmes and Watson
It’s the legendary detective duo as you’ve never seen them before. Will Ferrell stars as Sherlock Holmes, with John C. Reilly as his assistant John Watson. Working together to solve a mind-boggling mystery in Victorian London, Holmes and Watson is one of the most hotly anticipated comedies of the year.
If you think you know the story of Sherlock Holmes, think again…
A mystery is terrorising the streets of Victorian London, leaving citizens scared and the police force perplexed. There’s only one man brilliant enough to solve this case: the misunderstood genius Sherlock Holmes (Will Ferrell), alongside his assistant, John Watson (John C. Reilly).
Holmes and Watson sees the legendary duo reunite following their starring roles in cult-classic comedy Step Brothers, with both having more classic comedy films under their belts, including Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy and Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story respectively.
The all-star line up for Holmes and Watson is a veritable whos-who of the best of British. Hugh Laurie (Tomorrowland) is set to appear as Mycroft, Sherlock’s older brother, while Ralph Fiennes (The Grand Budapest Hotel) will star as Moriarty, Sherlock’s greatest nemesis.
Rebecca Hall (The BFG), Pam Ferris (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban) and Rob Brydon (Swimming with Men) are also set to fear in what is set to become another classic comedy.
