Full film details

Hailing from the video game universe, Ratchet and Clank make the jump from home consoles in a retelling of the original game – the title that spawned a whole franchise.

Planet Veldin: Ratchet’s home. A spacecraft crash lands, and when the Lombax goes to investigate, he unknowingly finds a misshapen robot that would quickly become his best mate – the bolt to his ratchet.

Upon learning that Chairman Drek of the Blarg species is extracting pieces of planets in order to form a new home for his race, the two decide to stand in his way.

Under attack from the Chairman’s army, Ratchet and Clank explore many different worlds in search of people who can help them on their quest. One being the galactic hero, Captain Qwark, an egotistical yet famous public figure and saviour of the Solana Galaxy.

Will this newly-formed duo of man (or Lombax rather) and machine stop Drek from destroying Ratchet’s home planet, as well as the entire galaxy around them?

Ratchet & Clank goes above and beyond the realms of the original game, going more in-depth than ever before into the plot, as well as adding fan-favourites such as Doctor Nefarious into this galactic adventure.

Followers of the franchise will be pleased to know that the characters they love will retain the voice cast from the game series, with James Arnold Taylor reprising his role as Ratchet and Jim Ward once again voicing Captain Qwark. Joining the stalwart cast is legendary actor Sylvester Stallone, playing Victor Von Ion.
