Full film details

One of Britain’s most exclusive boarding schools, Slaughterhouse is where the cream of the crop are sent to be cultivated into society’s finest women and men. Brimming with the offspring of some of the country’s wealthiest and most powerful parents, it operates within a microculture of its own.

There are unwritten rules, customs, and expectations that must be followed – or the consequences will be suffered. And, as newcomer Don Wallace (Finn Cole) is about to discover, assimilating into the Slaughterhouse world is as painful as the name suggests.

Hailing from a modest upbringing that is very different from that of his classmates, Don quickly learns that the sooner he accepts is place in the pecking order, the easier things will be for everyone...

But when fracking on the school grounds triggers earthquake-like tremors, things quickly spiral beyond bizarre. A sinkhole appears, and something horrific emerges.

As the school grounds become the front for a gory battle, the Slaughterhouse rules are rewritten. Suddenly, survival means more than status as the pupils and staff form a new hierarchy in the face of unprecedented upheaval.

Comedy duo Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, who have previously collaborated on and starred in Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, are the executive producers of Slaughterhouse Rulez. Both Pegg and Frost will also feature on screen, alongside Finn Cole (Peaky Blinders), Asa Butterfield (Journey’s End), Hermione Corfield (Star Wars: The Last Jedi), and Michael Sheen (Brad’s Status).
