Full film details

Way back in 1966, Buddy (Nick Frost) the dog left earth as part of a NASA space programme headed by his scientist owner, David. For 50 years, Buddy roamed the solar system before suddenly crashing back to Earth.

Landing in a small town called Glenview, all seems well. But the town is far from normal, and Buddy is far from safe. In searching for his long-lost owner, the dog realises that Glenview has a hateful disdain for animals and has outlawed pets, with ruthless police officer Peck constantly on the lookout.

Desperate to find David, Buddy realises the only way is by recruiting genius millionaire Felix (Luke Evans), a superhero feline, known as TurboCat.
Learning of a misfit organisation that fights outside of the law for animal rights, the vigilante pairing discovers their inner superpowers that could save the town’s pets, and help find David. But with Peck closing in quickly, is it too little too late?

This British animated comedy is perfect for all the family, and stars Gemma Arterton (Vita & Virginia, The Escape, Quantum of Solace), Luke Evans (The Alienist, Beauty and the Beast, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies), Nick Frost (Fighting With My Family, Slaughterhouse Rulez, Hot Fuzz), and Bill Nighy (Pokemon Detective Pikachu, The Bookshop, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest).
