The Belko Experiment
A regular workday turns into a bloodbath when an office is held hostage… And the victims are forced to play a twisted game of life or death.
There’s the nerdy one. The one who never shuts up about her kids. The one with the bad jokes. And they’re all about to try to kill each other.
For the employees of Belko Industries, it’s just another day at work. A typical American corporation, the company is based in Columbia and acts as a middleman for other American enterprises. It’s a building full of suits, briefcases and mediocre coffee.
Until the day it turns into a slaughterhouse.
A strange voice takes over the intercom and instructs the employees to murder three of their co-workers, or else six of them will be killed. At first, they think it’s a bad joke. And then someone’s head is blown up.
All employees hit with the same realisation: the trackers that were attached to their necks when they joined the company are, in effect, ticking time bombs. Everyone is a moving target.
Locked inside the building with no hope for escape, their initial attempts at working together begin fall apart as further instructions are given and more lives are taken. Soon, it’s everyone out for themselves…
Greg McLean (The Darkness) directs this horror-thriller, which stars Tony Goldwyn (Scandal), John Gallagher Jr. (10 Cloverfield Lane) and Adria Arjona (Emerald City).
