Retired CIA operative Robert McCall (Denzel Washington) isn’t afraid to take the law into his own hands.

The sequel to the 2014 smash hit, which took in £135.6m at the box office worldwide, the films are based on the hit 1980s TV series about a retired spy with a mysterious history and a knack for bringing the bad guys down.

Antoine Fuqua (The Magnificent Seven, Southpaw) returns to the director’s seat, and Denzel Washington (Roman J. Israel, Esq., Fences) stars as the spy-turned-hero.

Melissa Leo (The Most Hated Woman in America, The Fighter) and Bill Pullman (Battle of the Sexes, Independence Day: Resurgence) reprise their roles as ex-agents Susan and Brian Plummer, while Ashton Sanders (Moonlight) and Sakina Jaffrey (Timeless) join the cast.
