Full film details

Friends since childhood, Jason (Russell Tovey) and Ade (Arinze Kene) are excited to start their footballing careers together – so excited, that they can’t sleep. The night is spent fighting, mocking one another, preparing their kit… and watching another team mate’s sex tape.

One thing leads to another, and one of the footballer’s kisses the other. This kiss sets off a sequence of events that follows the men through the next 10 years of their lives.

A life of ultimate fame and luxury is balanced with an adulthood spent trapped in fear. The Pass is a deeply moving, and often funny, drama exploring the issues of homosexuality in football, and how hiding your true identity can have a profound impact in your lifelong happiness.

Starring Russell Tovey (The Lady in the Van) and Arinze Kene (Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them), The Pass is directed by Ben A. Williams, and is his first feature length film.
