Crack these Mission: Impossible codes – and win some mega prizes

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to solve a bunch of brain-teasing puzzles over the next eight weeks – and win some seriously cool prizes in the process. What better way to celebrate the release of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, now at Vue.

Every mission, every choice and every heavily insured stunt has led to this, but how did we actually arrive at the Final Reckoning? Just in case you’ve forgotten the events of Dead Reckoning, Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and co. are now preparing for an underwater mission in Russia. Having obtained the key to an AI entity located on a downed submarine, the race is now on to reach the vessel and stop the brainy tech from bringing the world to its knees. That doesn’t sound difficult and dangerous at all, does it?!

WHAT'S TO COME?

Yes, starting from Wednesday, May 7, we’ll be unleashing eight separate codes for you to crack on a weekly basis. Expect everything from ciphers, acrostic puzzles and word searches to appear on our social channels, along with a number of riddles and hints to push you in the right direction.

Character names and locations from the entire Mission: Impossible saga are bound to pop up, so budding agents will need to use all of their fan knowledge in order to crack these codes before they self-destruct.

And just a heads up; anyone who replies to our “Accept the mission” post on Instagram will immediately be added to our close friends list and will receive extra hints and clues.
