Half-term is fast approaching, and we know exactly what you’re thinking: “How on Earth am I going to keep the kids entertained for SEVEN WHOLE DAYS whilst juggling my incredibly busy lifestyle?” Well, the answer is simple. We’ll give you a hint – it involves a big screen, a few hours of escapism, and a handful of animated animals…
Alright, that was quite a big hint, so we might as well just come out with it. We’ll be showing the following family friendly films during the school break:
Migration
What’s this then?
Sometimes you’ve just got to spread your wings… and fly to Jamaica. At least, that’s what the ducks are doing in this brand-new animation from Illumination (the studio that brought us Minions AND The Super Mario Bros. Movie). The only problem is they’ve got themselves a bit lost..,
Why the whole family will love it
Did you read the bit above where it says it’s from the creators of Minions? That’s why you and kids will love it. But mostly you, let’s be honest.
Turning Red
What’s this then?
Imagine turning into a massive red panda whenever you get really, really excited or emotional. That’s what’s happening to little Mei Lee in this totally adorable Pixar animation, which is coming to the big screen for the FIRST TIME EVER. We can feel our furry paws growing already…
Why the whole family will love it
What’s not to love about a heartwarming and colourful Pixar adventure with a powerful message at its core? It’s about time this one was given the big screen treatment.
Kung Fu Panda 1, 2 and 3
What’s this then?
As the title unironically suggests, this classic DreamWorks animated trilogy involves a certain kung fu-wielding panda. And some other animals, too! Jack Black voices the titular hero Po, while Angelina Jolie, Seth Rogen, Lucy Liu, Jackie Chan, Dustin Hoffman and James Hong also star. But you knew that already, right?
Why the whole family will love it
Well, for starters, it’s colourful animals doing martial arts, which is obviously awesome and hilarious. But also, what better way to prepare for the upcoming fourth film than with a massive recap of the previous three?

What Else Is Showing?
None of the films above pick your fancy? That's fine, we've got plenty more films that are perfect for the family this Half-Term.
