It’s been two whole decades since Guillermo del Toro’s wonderfully weird monster movie took us to 1944 post-Civil War Spain, but this story about a young girl, a labyrinth, and a pale creature with eyeballs in its hands is still a timeless spooky tale.

We just can’t get Anne Hathaway out of our head. In fact, after this film, we probably won’t be able to get her out of our nightmares either. Dakota Johnson really shouldn’t have tried to take her place in this twisted new horror.

Who’d be an organ courier in Raccoon City, ay? Well, poor young Bryan (Austin Abrams) doesn’t have much choice when he’s tasked with delivering a VIP package to a remote hospital in the area. He soon finds himself in the middle of something monstrous and must do whatever he can to make it to his destination in one piece. Honestly, has he never played the video games?

Jessica Chastain is dishing out pure nightmare fuel in this new horror from producer James Wan (The Conjuring, Insidious and Saw). She stars in dual roles as a loving mother and “Other Mommy”, a sinister doppelganger entity that terrorises her young daughter. We told you it was nightmarish.

You can’t really blame him for turning into a villain, can you? Clayface gets his own origin story in this dark DC adventure.
