Moonlight – At Vue 16 to 17 June

What’s this then?

You know, the Best Picture winner at the 2017 Oscars? The film that changed the game for under-represented LGBTQIA+ stories? This coming-of-age drama takes us through the three defining chapters of a young black man’s life in Miami – and it hits so, so hard.

Love, Simon – At Vue 7 to 8 July

What’s this then?
An instant hit when it was released in 2018, and still a massive fan favourite. A highschooler (yes, named Simon) contemplates coming out to his friends and family after falling for an anonymous classmate online. Overwhelming anxiety naturally follows…

Why it’s worth a watch
While offering a terrifying insight into the world of online paranoia and the fear of coming out, it’s somehow incredibly easygoing! The word “cute” even comes to mind.
