Full film details

A group of college students take a camping trip in the heart of Black Hills Forest in Maryland – but this is no ordinary getaway.

These are no ordinary woods.

After seeing choppy footage showcasing a series of terrifying events that took place in the forest, James Donahue is convinced it has something to do with the disappearance of his sister 15 years earlier.

Determined to find out what happened to her, he and his friends decide to explore the terrain in hopes of discovering the truth.

But what begins as an ordinary camping trip soon takes a terrifying turn.

As the sun goes down, things go from bad to worse and the friends are left fighting for their sanity… and their lives.

How do you fight back against a dark force that seems to be everywhere all at once?

Hailed as one of the scariest movies in decades, Blair Witch is a sequel that promises to honour the success of The Blair Witch Project (1999), while showcasing a whole new level of horror for modern fans.

Director Adam Wingard teams up with his writing partner Simon Barrett once again, having enjoyed success together with taut home-invasion horror You’re Next (2011) and The Guest (2014).

The film stars Valorie Curry (The Following), Callie Hernandez (Alien: Covenant) and James Allen McCune (Snitch).
