Full film details

Dr. Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) has everything at his feet.

As the world’s top neurosurgeon, he commands attention wherever he goes and enjoys strolling through the many doors his reputation has opened up for him.

When a devastating car smash leaves him with no other option but to retire, the once brilliant surgeon must take a step back and begins to reconsider his arrogant ways.

Embarking on a spiritual mission, he meets The Ancient One (Tilda Swinton) - a sorcerer in the mystic arts, who has the ability to shape reality and bend time.

After taking the fallen doctor under her wing, The Ancient One begins to teach him everything she knows so that he can take on a dark force that threatens humanity.

In order to do this, he must learn to let go of his past and do battle in a number of alternate dimensions, where nothing is as it seems.

The latest superhero to leap from page-to-screen had been in development hell since 1986, so for fans of Doctor Strange, this movie has been a long-time-coming.

Boasting a cast as talented as it is diverse, Marvel’s latest might just be one of its greatest.

Benedict Cumberbatch (The Imitation Game) and Tilda Swinton (A Bigger Splash) are joined by Rachel McAdams (Spotlight), Chiwetel Ejiofor (The Martian) and Mads Mikkelsen (Hannibal).
See the movie in eye-popping 3D, IMAX or IMAX 3D and step into the alternate dimension with Doctor Strange!
