Office Christmas Party
Making a good impression at the annual Christmas do is this branch’s last chance to stay in business, but losing their jobs could be the least of their problems…
It’s the most awkward time of the year.
Someone always drinks too much. Someone always says something highly inappropriate to the manager.
Someone forgets that, though everyone’s wearing attire that might not comply with the business-casual dress code, they’re all still sort of in a workplace environment and maybe they shouldn’t be setting fire to anything...
The annual Christmas party can be tricky territory for even the most solid of businesses, but at the office where Josh (Jason Bateman) works, it’s a zoo of ill-chosen comments, unsuitable behaviour and tactless mistakes.
Infamous for throwing a great party that always goes too far, the branch manager, Clay (T. J. Miller) promises his employees that this year’s bash will be one to remember.
Until the CEO, his sister Carol (Jennifer Aniston), threatens to take the whole thing down – not just the party, but the branch as well...
In order to turn things around, Josh and Clay team up to try and win everyone over the best way they know how – with alcohol, music and a really good time.
Will they be able to pull off a Christmas miracle? Or is this the year that everything finally goes up in flames – literally.
Directed by Josh Gordon and Will Speck (Blades of Glory), this hilarious and terrifyingly relatable comedy reunites Bateman (Horrible Bosses) and Aniston (We’re the Millers), alongside up and coming comedy talent Kate McKinnon (Ghostbusters) as the office Christmas-nerd and Miller (Deadpool) as the party-loving boss.
