Full film details

Life isn’t always easy when you’re a wimpy kid. Especially when you’ve been packed into the back of the family car like a tin of sardines, to hit the highway for a tedious family gathering.

But Greg has something else besides his Great Grandma’s 90th birthday party on his mind, something which might just rescue him from death by boredom.

Indianapolis is just a stones’ throw-away from Grandma’s house (or two inches on the map), and the biggest and best gaming convention of them all is heading to town.

The only problem is figuring out a way to duck out of the party and make his way to the Gamer Expo before his meddling mother (Alicia Silverstone) finds out…

The fourth instalment in The Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie franchise features an all-new cast, and once again is adapted from the hugely successful book series by Jeff Kinney.

Jason Drucker (Every Witch Way) plays the role of hapless mini-hero Greg, whilst Alicia Silverstone (Clueless) appears as his highly-strung mum.

Tom Everett Scott (La La Land) and Charlie Wright (Ingrid Goes West) offer strong support, whilst David Bowers (Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days, Astroboy) returns to the director’s chair.
