Beware: spoilers for Fifty Shades Darker lie ahead.

The date’s been set...

Fifty Shades Freed is being released on February 9th 2018, just in time for Valentine’s Day – and there’s nothing like taking your significant other to watch the racy drama between Ana and Christian unfold on the big screen on that special day.

The plot thickens…

In the third instalment of the raunchy trilogy, things get serious. Ana and Christian are married. Ana discovers she is pregnant. Creepy stalker Jack Hyde becomes more sinister than ever, even attempting a kidnap plot. There’s a shooting, ominous exes and a surprise, life-changing discovery from the past. But how does Christian feel about the baby? How do the newly-married couple cope with the violent influences surrounding them? How can they possibly move forward? We’re impatiently waiting for 2018 to find out.

There’s an experienced team behind the scenes…

If you loved Fifty Shades Darker, you’ll adore Fifty Shades Freed, as the same genius team are on board. James Foley, who took over from Sam Taylor-Johnson after the first film, returns to direct. Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti are back as producers, alongside the original author, E. L. James. Plus, James' husband, Niall Leonard, who was enlisted to write the Darker script, has penned the script for the third film.

There are plenty of familiar faces…

While we will, of course, be seeing Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan reprise their roles as Anastasia Steele (now Grey) and Christian Grey, they are not the only familiar names starring in the third movie. We’ll also see the return of Rita Ora as Mia Grey, Christian’s sister, as well as Luke Grimes as the protagonist’s brother, Elliot Grey. Plus, Kim Basinger is back as Elena Lincoln, Eric Johnson will be returning as Jack Hyde, and Marcia Gay Harden will appear again as Grace Trevelyan Grey, Christian’s adoptive mother.

There are some new faces too…

The Vampire Diaries’ Arielle Kebbel has signed on to play Gia Matteo, Christian's architect, with first-look photos on set showing Kebbel locking lips with Grimes. Well, this should be interesting…

The ending may not be what you expect…

But you’ll definitely like it. February 9th, 2018, we’re getting impatient…
