Whether you’re a hopeless romantic or a stone cold cynic, there’s something for everyone to love on the big screen this Valentine’s Day…
ROH: Romeo & JulietIt doesn’t get more swoonsome than a Royal Opera House ballet production of the world’s most famous love story. Go giddy for the exquisite choreography. Be seduced by the stunning costumes and sublime score. Sure, the ending to this star-crossed lovers’ story is a *bit* of a bummer…but if anything it will only make you appreciate your own Romeo/Juliet even more.

CyranoIf you prefer your emotions expressed via the medium of song (who doesn’t?), then this musical adaptation of classic love story Cyrano will give you all the feels. Directed by Joe Wright (Atonement, Pride & Prejudice), Game of Thrones’ Peter Dinklage plays our hero Cyrano, a 17th century soldier, poet and outsider who’s totally lovesick for Roxanne. Will he get the gal? And if your date doesn’t think musicals are cool — tell them that tunes come courtesy of The National.

Marry MeMarry Me might star Jennifer Lopez as a massive pop star and one half of a glamorous celebrity couple but it’s NOT a documentary, ok? Instead, it’s a throwback to the glory days of rom-coms (come back 2003, we miss you). There’s a last minute spanner in the works of J-Lo’s Kat Valdez’s livestreamed wedding but, rather than let a good dress go to waste, she picks a new ‘normal’ groom from the audience to marry. Step forward Owen Wilson. A great one to gather your girls together for…
Death on The NileHow's this for an impressive date? A cruise down the Nile with Gal Gadot, Kenneth Branaugh, Letitia Wright, Rose Leslie, Russell Brand, French & Saunders and more — all dressed to the nines in fabulous 1930s’ attire. This is a remake of an Agatha Christie classic so there will be a grisly murder along the way – but don’t let that spoil the enjoyment. Especially as you get to play detective from your comfy seat. Will you beat Poirot to it?
Sing 2Show us a heart that doesn’t melt at the sight of a cute koala bear voiced by Matthew McConaughey and we’ll show you a heart made of stone. In this animated sequel Buster Moon and his crew of crooning creatures — voiced by stars including Scarlett Johansson, Taron Egerton, Reese Witherspoon and some up and coming rocker called Bono – are trying to make it big in showbiz. This one’s the perfect V-day outing for the whole family.
UnchartedFind someone that loves you as much as Tom Holland loves playing the role of an iconic character in a huge blockbuster. Fresh from his recent turn in SpiderMan: No Way Home, he’s now taking on Nathan Drake from the Uncharted video game series — and he’s on the hunt for “the biggest treasure that's never been found.” The stunts just be even bigger than the treasure.

Jackass ForeverWant to avoid the whole chocolate boxes and red roses vibe this Valentine’s Day? It doesn’t get less lovey-dovey — or more entertaining — than the Jackass crew doing more of their absurd pranks and death-defying stunts. You might get a *little* bit emotional though… because Johnny Knoxville has vowed this will be the last ever Jackass film — apparently he’s getting too old for all the crazy.
