By car

Located inside The Capitol Centre on London Way, Vue Preston is easily accessible from Preston and from the M61. From Preston, follow the A59 (London Way) towards the M6 - you'll find the Capitol Centre complex on the right hand side.

From the M61, take junction 8 on to the M65, follow the A6 to town centre – you'll find the venue just off London Way. There is free car parking available on site.

By train: The nearest train station is Preston, connecting with nearby Blackburn and Lancaster. Park and Ride is available from the town centre, on Jackson Street, from 7am to 7pm Monday through to Saturday.

By bus: The nearest bus stop is a five minute walk, located next to Tesco Home.

Location access

Vue Preston is located on the ground floor of The Capitol Centre, on London Way. It has a large car park on-site with plenty of accessible parking for blue badge holders.

Park and Ride is available from the town centre (Jackson Street) from 7am to 7pm Monday through to Saturday, while the bus stop is a five minute walk away, located next to Tesco Home.

Venue and screen access

Vue Preston has wheelchair access throughout the venue and in all screens. Entrance to the venue is through three sets of double doors and one automatic door, which leads to the main foyer all seven screens.

There's step-free access to the wheelchair spaces and adjoining seats, and an accessible toilet off the main foyer.

Purchasing tickets

There are hearing loops at all of the counters, where food, drinks and tickets can be purchased, and pre-purchased tickets can be collected. There is also a lowered counter available. Guests can also purchase or collect tickets at the automatic ticket machines located in the venue foyer.

Accessible screenings

Vue Preston shows subtitled (ST) films every week. Film times are updated each Wednesday morning for the coming Friday. You can book subtitled screenings here.

Some of our screens are equipped with infrared technology to provide hearing assistance. Simply let a member of our staff know when you're purchasing your tickets and they'll organise a headset for you. We recommend arriving a little earlier than you normally would so we can get you set up in time for the film.

Autism-friendly screenings

In our autism-friendly screenings, the lights are left on low, the sound is turned down and trailers and adverts aren't played. When you book tickets for an autism-friendly screening, you’ll be asked to choose allocated seats but we do encourage guests to move around during the screening and make a bit of noise.
