Located in the Festival Place Shopping Sentre on New Market Square, Vue Basingstoke Festival Place is easily accessible by the M3 and is just off J6. There are plenty of car parking spaces inside the shopping centre, with all parking after 6pm only £1.

By bus: Vue Basingstoke is a five minute walk from Festival Place bus station.

Location access

Vue Basingstoke Festival Place is located on the first floor of the Festival Place shopping centre with access by escalator and lift. The venue is next door to Festival Place bus station and about a five minute walk from Basingstoke train station. The shopping centre has on-site car parking with blue badge spaces available on all of the five floors. Car park section ‘C’ is the nearest to the venue and is about a five minute walk. There's lift access to all car park floors, and a taxi rank and a designated drop off point are at the rear of the venue.

Venue and screen access

Vue Basingstoke Festival Place has wheelchair access throughout the venue and in all screens. You can enter the venue through two sets of manual double doors and one set of automatic double doors. The screens are all on one floor. There's step-free access to the wheelchair spaces and adjoining seats, and accessible toilets at the end of the corridor between screens four and five.

Purchasing tickets

There are hearing loops at all of the counters, where food, drinks and tickets can be purchased, and pre-purchased tickets can be collected. There is also a lowered counter available. You can also purchase or collect tickets at the automatic ticket machines located in the venue foyer.

Accessible screenings

Vue Basingstoke Festival Place shows subtitled (ST) films every week. Film times are updated each Wednesday morning for the coming Friday. You can book subtitled screenings here.

Some of our screens are equipped with infrared technology to provide hearing assistance. Simply let a member of our staff know when you're purchasing your tickets and they'll organise a headset or neck loop for you. We recommend arriving a little earlier than you normally would so we can get you set up in time for the film.

Autism-friendly screenings

In our autism-friendly screenings, the lights are left on low, the sound is turned down and trailers and adverts aren't played. When you book tickets for an autism-friendly screening, you’ll be asked to choose allocated seats but we do encourage guests to move around during the screening and make a bit of noise.

Vue Basingstoke Festival Place hosts an autism-friendly screening at 10am on the last Sunday of every month. You can book autism-friendly screenings here. Select All Times or Coming Soon to see the full range of screenings available.
