Vue Livingston is located on the second floor within the Livingston Designer Outlet, a major shopping and leisure development, close to both the M8 and M9 motorways between Edinburgh and Glasgow.

There's plenty of paid parking at Livingston Designer Outlet car park, where tariffs start from as little as 50p per hour and parking is free before 8.30am and after 6pm.

By public transport

By train: First Scotrail run trains regularly from Edinburgh to Livingston North station and from Glasgow to Livingston South station. From there, the Livingston Designer Outlet is a short distance by taxi or bus.

By bus: First Bus runs regular services from Glasgow and Edinburgh, and a bus terminal is located in front of Livingston Designer Outlet.

Vue Livingston is a state-of-the-art multiplex venue located within the Livingston Designer Outlet. It has eight screens and can seat up to 1,645 guests.

This venue opens approximately 15 minutes before the first film of the day.

Location access

Located on the first floor of Livingston Designer Outlet, Vue Livingston has both lift and escalator access. The centre has a large car park with plenty of accessible parking for blue badge holders. There's a drop-off area and taxi rank to the side of the shopping mall where a bus stop is also located.

Venue and screen access

The venue and screens are all on one level, with lift access to the rear of screens one and eight. Plenty of seating can be found in the main foyer, with more available in the bar area on the second floor.

You'll find accessible toilets next to screen four and on the upper level near the balcony seating.

Purchasing tickets

There are hearing loops at all of the counters, where food, drinks and tickets can be purchased, and pre-purchased tickets can be collected. There is also a lowered counter available. You can also purchase or collect tickets at the automatic ticket machines located in the venue foyer.

Accessible screenings

Vue Livingston shows subtitled (ST) films every week. Film times are updated each Wednesday morning for the coming Friday. You can book subtitled screenings here.

Some of our screens are equipped with infrared technology to provide hearing assistance. Simply let a member of our staff know when you're purchasing your tickets and they'll organise a headset or neckloop for you. We recommend arriving a little earlier than you normally would so we can get you set up in time for the film.

Autism-friendly screenings

In our autism-friendly screenings, the lights are left on low, the sound is turned down and trailers and adverts aren't played. When you book tickets for an autism-friendly screening, you’ll be asked to choose allocated seats but we do encourage guests to move around during the screening and make a bit of noise.
