Located in the Lowry Outlet Mall on Salford Quays, Vue Manchester Lowry is easily accessible from the M60 J12 for the M602 – simply follow the signs for the outlet mall.

Or, you can come off the M60 at J7 and travel on the A56 to Salford Quays, following signs for the Outlet Mall.

The venue has a large car park attached to the shopping centre.

By public transport

By tram: From Manchester Piccadilly, you can jump on the tram service to Harbour City, which is a seven minute walk from the venue. The trams go every 12 minutes between 10am and 5pm and every 14 minutes from 5pm onward.

By bus: The number 69 runs every hour from 8am and 6pm, Monday through to Saturday.

Location access

Vue Manchester Lowry is located on the first floor of the Lowry Outlet Mall on Salford Quarys, with lift and escalators from the ground floor and car park. The venue has a large multi story car park with four hours of free parking on receipt of a validated ticket.

There's accessible parking in the centre for blue badge holders, and a drop-off area available at the front.

The Harbour City tram stop is a seven minute walk away and buses stop outside the shopping centre.

Venue and screen access

Vue Manchester Lowry has wheelchair access throughout the venue and in all screens. The venue has an open plan entrance, with all screens located off the main foyer. Screens one and two are accessible via a ramp, while screens three to six are upstairs, with access by lift.

There's step-free access to the wheelchair spaces and adjoining seats, and accessible toilets off the foyer.

Screen 2 : 1 wheelchair spaces in the centre of the front row.

Screen 3 : 1 wheelchair spaces in the centre of the front row.

Purchasing tickets

There are hearing loops at all of the counters, where food, drinks and tickets can be purchased, and pre-purchased tickets can be collected. There is also a lowered counter available. You can also purchase or collect tickets at the automatic ticket machines located in the venue foyer.

Accessible screenings

Vue Manchester Lowry shows subtitled (ST) films every week. Film times are updated each Wednesday morning for the coming Friday. You can book subtitled screenings here.

We also offer audio description (AD) on a selection of the films. You can book audio description screenings here. If you'd rather book by phone, give us a call on 0345 308 4620 (local rates apply).

Some of our screens are equipped with infrared technology to provide hearing assistance. Simply let a member of our staff know when you're purchasing your tickets and they'll organise a headset or neckloop for you. We recommend arriving a little earlier than you normally would so we can get you set up in time for the film.

Autism-friendly screenings

In our autism-friendly screenings, the lights are left on low, the sound is turned down and trailers and adverts aren't played. When you book tickets for an autism-friendly screening, you’ll be asked to choose allocated seats but we do encourage guests to move around during the screening and make a bit of noise.
