Avengers: Endgame is finally here and we’ve got an impressive 112sq foot mural to celebrate

It’s really good, even if we do say so ourselves

Safe to say we’re a wee bit excited about Avengers: Endgame here at Vue - so much so that we partnered with Graffiti Kings to create an amazing mural at Vue Westfield (Shepherd’s Bush). It features the six original Avengers in some of our favourite moments from the films. From “We're sort of like a team” to “You know, I still don't know how to dance” these tiny moments are all part of the rich Avengers tapestry that’s brought us up to Endgame. We. Are. Psyched.

So yes, that’s why we decided that creating a 112sq ft mural was a good idea - and when you see the end result, we bet you’ll agree.

Where do you even start with a mural that huge? Take a look at this video to see how the whole thing came together over the course of three days:

There’s a lot to take in, but don’t worry: we’ve put together a handy guide to all the Avengers moments you can find in there, big and small:

IRON MAN

The cave scene (Iron Man, 2008)
The moment that changes Tony Stark’s life forever. He builds the Mark I Iron Man Suit and uses it to escape the terrorists Ten Rings’ headquarters… with a bang!

The Whiplash scene (Iron Man 2, 2010)
Iron Man 2’s villain Whiplash attempts to avenge his father by wielding his electrified whips to destroy Tony’s race car in the Monaco Grand Prix. Tony survives with a little help from Happy Hogan and a furious Pepper.

“Stark, you know that's a one way trip?” (Avengers Assemble, 2012)
Tony was never the same again after The Avengers’ Battle of New York. In the ultimate heroic moment, Iron Man sacrifices himself to stop a nuclear missile destroying New York, redirecting it towards the Chitauri’s mothership. Luckily for Tony, his pal the Hulk is around to catch him when he falls and saves his life.

The Clean Slate Protocol (Iron Man 3, 2013)
"Screw it, it's Christmas!” After nearly losing his girlfriend Pepper, Tony realises it’s time for a change. He orders J.A.R.V.I.S to destroy all his Iron Man suits, creating a Christmas firework show for him and Pepper.

The Spider-Man snap (Avengers: Infinity War, 2018)
Saddest Avengers moment ever? Tony Stark has become an unlikely father figure to Peter Parker, which makes it even more devastating when Spidey fades away in Tony’s arms.

CAPTAIN AMERICA

“I can do this all day” (Captain America: The First Avenger, 2011)
Frail Steve Rogers may not have originally looked like your typical superhero, but he was still always brave enough to stand up to bullies bigger than him.

The experiment (Captain America: The First Avenger, 2011)
Rogers signs up for Dr Abraham Erksine’s experiment and transforms into the super soldier we all know and love.

The helicopter scene (Captain America: Civil War 2016)
Someone has been working out! Cap shows off his superhuman strength in this epic scene, where he breaks Bucky’s helicopter with his bare hands.

The entry scene (Avengers: Infinity War, 2018)
Thank God he left that flip phone! Cap comes out of hiding and brings a new beard along too to save both Scarlet Witch and Vision.

THOR

The Rainbow Bridge (Thor, 2011)
Thor destroys Bifrost to prevent the annihilation of the Giants. It’s bittersweet, though - because the bridge is his portal to Earth, meaning he won’t be able to see Jane.

The Stark Tower fight (Avengers Assemble, 2012)
Thor takes fighting with your brother to the next level when he faces off against Loki on top of Stark Tower in this spectacular fight scene.

The “friend from work” (Thor Ragnarok, 2017)
He’s forced to compete against the Hulk in the Grandmaster’s Contest of Champions. He’s happy to bump into his fellow Avenger...but the Hulk isn’t quite so friendly.

The Wakanda moment (Infinity War, 2018)
Thor arrives in Wakanda in style with Groot and Rocket by his side. He brings his new hammer Stormbreaker along for the ride.

HULK

“Hulk Smash” (The Incredible Hulk, 2008)
Two words you never want to hear. If you’re a Marvel villain, that is.

“That’s my secret Cap. I’m always angry” (Avengers Assemble, 2012)
The Avengers unite in the Battle of New York, with Hulk taking down the villain in a spectacular showdown.

The fight against Fenrir (Thor: Ragnarok, 2017)
Bruce Banner attempts to fight Hela’s wolf on the Rainbow Bridge to help Thor save his fellow Asgardians. He’s not particularly successful, but luckily Hulk arrives just in time.

The Hulkbuster (Avengers: Infinity War, 2018)

The Hulk won’t join the battle, so Bruce wears the Hulkbuster to help the Avengers defeat Thanos’ forces - but it’s not enough to stop Thanos from destroying half of the universe's population.

BLACK WIDOW

The hallway takedown (Iron Man 2, 2010)
Black Widow shows off some mightily impressive spinning takedowns in this clash with Hammer security.

The chair scene (Avengers Assemble, 2012)
While being interrogated, Black Widow gets a phone call from agent Coulson: Hawkeye’s been compromised. She starts fighting straight away, with her hands tied to a chair...and wins, of course. Effortlessly.

The shock reveal (Captain America: Winter Soldier, 2014)

The moment she rips off her mask to reveal her identity and says: “Did I step on your moment?”

The Ant-Man face off (Captain America: Civil War, 2016)

The Avengers are at war with each other; hero is fighting against hero, and here, we see Black Widow face off against Ant-Man.

HAWKEYE

The jump (Avengers Assemble, 2012)
Hawkeye jumps off the roof of an exploding building, shoots an arrow into a nearby building and swings his way to safety through a window. It’s the first time we properly see him in action, and it’s pretty epic.

The farmhouse (Avengers: Age of Ultron, 2015)
The Avengers need a place to hide, so Hawkeye brings them to his secret safehouse. We see his family for the first time, and this bit of backstory humanises the character for us. Director Joss Whedon actually had to fight to keep this scene from getting cut out of the movie.

“I’m good, Arrow Guy” (Captain America: Civil War, 2016)
Hawkeye, AKA Arrow Guy, teams up with Ant-Man here. “Buckled in?” Hawkeye says, as he launches Ant-Man - via one of his arrows - into Iron-Man’s suit.
And if you’d like to get your hands on an exclusive screen print of this incredible work of Avengers art then you’re in luck. We’re giving a handful away!
