Catch a stunning piece of world cinema every month at Vue

Londoners: here’s why you need to make the second Sunday of the month your day for catching today’s best foreign films.

Everyone loves a blockbuster. But sometimes great films get missed among the big budget PR campaigns, A-list casts, and explosive CGI sequences. So if you’re looking to catch something unexpected and exceptional on the big screen, then World Cinema at Vue is a great place to start.

We’ve partnered with Film Hub London to bring you a full year of great films from across the globe at six of our London locations: Shepherds Bush, Dagenham, Wood Green, Harrow, Croydon Grants and Islington.
On 11th December, we’ll begin our season in the sub-zero mountains of Kazakhstan with The Eagle Huntress, where we’ll meet 13-year-old Aisholpan as she trains to become the first female in twelve generations to become an eagle hunter. Narrated by Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Daisy Ridley, this is the kind of cinema that brings fresh perspectives to our sometimes Hollywood-saturated viewing experiences.

Join us on the second Sunday of every month for some intelligent and emotionally engaging filmmaking, spectacular scenery, and incredible stories that might not otherwise be told.
