May half term at Vue – you know it makes sense

Let the family fun times begin

May half term is fast approaching and we know exactly what you’re thinking: “How on Earth am I going to keep the kids entertained for SEVEN WHOLE DAYS whilst juggling my incredibly busy lifestyle?” Well, the answer is simple. We’ll give you a hint – it involves a big screen and some great value entertainment.

Alright, that was quite a big hint, so we might as well just come out with it. We’ll be showing the following family friendly films during the school break:

IF - BOOK NOW

What’s this then?
What if… what if… what if that imaginary friend you had as a kid was actually real? That’s basically the setup here, except now throw in a little girl who has the magical ability to actually see those imaginary friends. And she’s being helped by Ryan Reynolds to find these forgotten IFs some new kid besties. Yeah, that’s what’s going on.

Why the whole family will love it
Who wouldn’t want to watch Ryan Reynolds run around with a bunch of weird characters voiced by the likes of Steve Carell, Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Matt Damon and more? To be honest, if you don’t love IF, you’ve probably just lost your imagination.

The Garfield Movie - BOOK NOW

What’s this then?
Everyone’s favourite lasagne-eating, Monday-hating cat is back, and this time he sounds an awful lot like Chris Pratt. Get ready for some serious giggles as the iconic tabby takes on the heist of a lifetime. Or nine.

Why the whole family will love it
Aside from dogs, who doesn’t love Garfield? Nostalgic for you, joyous for the kids, this colourful new adventure is simply a must-watch for families this half term.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban - BOOK NOW

What’s this then?
The boy who lived needs no introduction, but we do need to tell you that his third trip to Hogwarts is coming back to the big screen for its 20th anniversary. So yes, get ready to face off against the Dementors once again, along with a slightly older looking Harry, Ron and Hermione.

Why the whole family will love it
Nothing says “family” better than a joint effort to break out your godfather from a high-security wizard prison. Also, chances are you already love this film and are aching to see it on the big screen for the first time.
