Ever since his scene-stealing turn in The Lego Movie, we've been eagerly anticipating the yellow brick-built Caped Crusader's solo big screen outing in the upcoming The Lego Batman Movie.

On 10th February, Will Arnett will be back on the big screen as the voice of Bats while his Arrested Development co-star Michael Cera voices Robin. Along for the ride are also Ralph Fiennes as Alfred and Zach Galifianakis as The Joker, with Rosario Dawson and Mariah Carey rounding out the bat-cast.

The plot shows a wildly successful and well-loved Batman leading a rather lonely existence until Alfred, his faithful butler, reminds him of the young orphan he has taken under his bat-wing. But stepping up from being a loner to embracing friends and family once more could be our masked avenger’s greatest challenge yet. Especially since it coincides with the return of his nemesis. No, not Superman..The Joker, along with Two-Face and Harley Quinn and The Riddler and Catwoman and The Penguin and...The Condiment King.

The trailers have been as hilarious as you’d expect considering the non-stop gags that made The Lego Movie such a hit. So get ready for a lot of dancing, singing, the occasional reference to just about all the “other” Batmans and just about every Bat-vehicle ever to answer a Bat-signal. Also, the best answers to exactly why Robin dresses the way he does and why the Bat-mobile doesn’t have seatbelts.

So initialise the Batcave music and remember that the password to fun this February is NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA (LEGO) BATMAN!

The Lego Batman Movie is out at Vue on 10th February, with previews on 4th and 5th. Get times and tickets here.
